Three Xs Ten

A post in honor of 10.10.10.
Ten Things I Love...

My favorite color (red), whimsical and!!!

Such a pretty addition to a front door

Those boots really are for walking!

Extend the life (aka heat) of your tea while protecting your palms

The leaping gazelle print is magical

 I see you!

This autumnal print is divine!

 Perfect for special displays.

Ten Things To Do...
Stencil wall paper = easy to create, easy to change up

Have leather scraps, will make shoes that fit

Because perhaps fabric can help soften our highchair
(or at least glam it up a bit!)

Making our sharp storage baskets a little less dangerous
(and a little more fancy!)

Make my own yogurt?  Yes I can!!!

Perhaps I shouldn't try to make my own doughnuts
(because then I'll want to do it again...and again...)

Miss Ella-Bean will soon be ready for her own busy book - fun!

 Dyeing playsilks with kool-aid...sounds tasty!

Perhaps I'll try my hand at making my own yarn wreath!!

Make a dress by Friday. Love the concept. Love the dress!

Ten Goals I Have...

1. Tackle my to-dos
2. Have (more) patience with others
3. Switch from canned goods from the store to canning my own
4. Launch (one of) my dreams
5. Repaint the bedrooms
6. Run a half-marathon
7. Make a quilt
8. Move back to the east coast (this is a longer-term one!)
9. Listen to more NPR and less TV
10. Clean out my closet

Great post! LoVE those chairs in the first photo.

Just found that hat shop you mentioned in a previous post and am SOLD on my new winter hat.

Thanks for all of your nice comments lately. I love knowing there are other moms out there with similar interests, good taste, and are so into homeopathic stuff.

Okay. So I have about five million comments on your post.

First, play silk dyeing. I'd love to do this with you! We could order together (cheaper in quantity) and make a date of it. Looks like it's not too intense that the littles couldn't toddle around during, though we'd have to watch for funny business. Ewan seems to be quite smitten with Ella.

Second, thanks for linking to the yogurt. Have you done it yet?!

Those letters! So cute! I made some similar last christmas. (

Donuts, Michael Pollan says eat all the junk you want so long as you make them yourself. :) If you make donuts, let me know. I'll help prevent you from eating them all!

Biking through the park. Yuppers. It was a good day to be out. We went to the music class down in Roscoe Village. Good times.

Oh, I forgot, I'm totally interested to hear about dreams that need launching. I've got a few of my own as well. Big dreams, not enough time. Gotta carve some out and DO.IT. Perhaps we can share dreams and cheer each other on!
