Today we had some down time between laundry, soccer and Ribfest (rough life, I know!) and I was able to finish this plush shaker for Ella. You may remember that I'm working on making (or at least attempting) everything from Lotta Jansdotter's baby sewing book. This one only took me about an hour (though without interruption, I'm sure it could be completed faster.) If you recognize the fabric, that is because it is the same as our bedding - I used the little fabric bag that our duvet came in! The little giraffe (I think that's what it is) has embroidered eyes and nose, and little ribbon ears. I added some bells inside so that it jingles too.
And the best part about this little number?
Ella loves it! Success!!
